Quality Technician
Position: Quality Technician
Employee Type: Full-Time (1st shift)
Responsibilities:
•Test and inspect product at various stages of production process
•Process, compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products
•Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards
•Possess strong communication skills with the ability to train others
•Review Spec Sheets to determine if the product is meeting the customer specifications.
•Ensure proper documentation on all customer returns through final disposition
•Complete receiving inspection
•Conduct Quality Tests as required
•Work with plant personnel to prevent rejects form reoccurring
•Complete miscellaneous projects as assigned by supervisor and or manager
•Continuous learning and willingness to seek personal growth
•Demonstrate attention to detail
Qualifications:
•Possess strong communication skills with the ability to train others
•Knowledge and application of SPC is a plus
•Good PC, data entry and ability to work in spreadsheets
•Possess a positive can-do attitude, demonstrating a proactive instead of reactive approach
•Possess a willingness to learn and seek personal growth
•Ability to stoop, bend, and twist repetitively
•Ability to lift to and including 50 lbs
•Ability to stand on feet 8 hours per day. Responsibilities General Duties (not all inclusive)
