Senior Accountant

Role Overview:
This is a hands-on senior accounting role with responsibilities across general ledger management, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and process improvements. The ideal candidate will support the Controller and CFO in driving financial performance and maintaining strong financial controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports to support business decision-making
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Assist in internal controls documentation, compliance, and audit preparation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including cost accounting, purchasing, and operations, to improve processes and reporting accuracy
- Manage payroll accounting and related reconciliations
- Provide advanced support and act as a key backup resource for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Mentor junior accounting staff and assist with team development
- Take initiative in process improvements and system enhancements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent education, with at least 5 years of progressively responsible accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing or aerospace industries
- Strong technical skills in general ledger, financial reporting, with understanding of basic cost accounting concepts
- Proficiency with ERP systems and solid Excel skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
